❗ Do You Remember the Missing Warning Card?
Do you remember the other week when I said there was something fishy about a result where a rider came home without a warning, even after the rider in fact should have had one? Well guess what, it happened again...
Cause I seriously don't believe an event with over 400 starters, 425 to be exact, would not generate more than the ONE Yellow Warning Card that was handed out in the CCI1*-Intro for: Incorrect Behaviour (GRs Art. 164.3), Non-Compliance with applicable Sport Rules (GRs Art. 164.3).
That cannot be!
In Hamm, Germany two weeks earlier they managed to hand out 10 Warnings and Yellow Cards for all kinds of things.
So, for Arville, I patiently wait till next week to see if the rider in the CCI4*-S who was eliminated, and yet continued to jump, indeed will get a warning or not.
Technically there were at least two of those incidents, but one of the two got the result mysteriously changed, and here's the thing.
Do the officials really think the rest of us are that stupid? Are they just ignorant, arrogant or what?
Cause the things one see when watching, in this case, eventing, is borderline insane.
But evidently people don't realise that people like me, my friends and others actually DO follow the sport up close. Or maybe they just don't care?
Quite frankly I am not sure what would be worse.
What I do know is, we are just days, weeks or months from the day when all records that are currently official via our governing body will be put behind a paywall of the sort most people won't be able to penetrate. And then we have no transparency left.
